Verdict
Supreme Prince gets the vote here, with Tucacas and Charlies Future also shortlist material. The selection looks a promising sort and he ran well enough when finishing second behind Muck Savage at Exeter last month. This looks the perfect opportunity for the selection to get back to winning ways, with conditions to suit. Tucacas represents the main danger as she finished a fair fourth behind One For Me on her seasonal reappearance at Wincanton last month, and she is sure to come on for that run. Charlies Future should be noted in the market, because he ran as though something was amiss last time at Newton Abbot behind Achilles Wings. If his problems are behind him, this gelding would certainly have a chance of making the frame. Of the rest, Historic is from a shrewd yard and could go well, but we are happy to side with Supreme Prince.
