    Verdict

Katchit, Chaninbar and Irish Whispers are the ones to look at seriously here with Alan King's debutant winner Katchit taken to come out on top. Irish Whispers was a modest performer on the Flat but stepped up on his hurdling debut third when scoring at Fontwell last time, producing a 12-1 surprise. He is respected but may struggle here under his penalty. Chaninbar makes his debut in this country after some modest efforts on the Flat in france and could be happily passed over were it not for the fact that he represents Paul Nicholls. He is though taken on as he has yet to prove himself and may go off a false price. A Salisbury winner on the Flat, Katchit scored on his hurdling bow at Market Rasen beating the prolific Is It Me. Rated over 80 on the level and a progressive type he looks worth siding with till beaten. Katchit may prove too quick for his rivals and can put his Flat speed to good use on this sound surface.
