    In depth

    Verdict

Lik Wood Power returned to winning ways last time out and can follow up in this very poor event, Winding River and Kind Sir could be the main rivals. The selection led from someway out in that Fakenham contest and ran on strongly to beat Lambrini Mist by five lengths. A repeat of that effort should be good enough this afternoon. Winding River has disappointed on his last two outings but has had some training problems and would be a shoe in here if back to his best. Kind Sir hasn't jumped at all well in his last two races, but his previous second behind Abutilon stands out as excellent form and if he picks his feet up today he should be thereabouts. Red Granite is another to consider in a very modest contest, but Lik Wood Power comes here at the top of his game and he gets the vote.
