Verdict
This is the right grade for Elvis and he is fancied to build on some solid performances of late and overcome the burden of top weight in this company. Indian Sun and I Tina are just two that will not make life easy for the selection and have to be placed on the shortlist. Whereas Lightning Star should also give a good account of himself if he builds on some promising efforts seen from him of late. However, he has plenty to find with Elvis on their recent meeting at Fontwell and it is hard to see the form not being upheld. Therefore, the Lawrence Wells-trained Elvis, although far from the king of at handicap hurdling, looks the likeliest candidate to score today at this level.
