In depth
Verdict
Eye Of The Water has only found one too good at Windsor the last twice and races off the same mark here. He has the ground to suit again so shouldn’t be far away. Lady Celia went close to competing her hat-trick at Hamilton four weeks ago and is only a pound here while Handytalk was back to his best when scoring at Bath last month. Zapper Cass won over 5f here last month but is probably most effective on Fibresand. GAMBON (NAP) completely blew the start here last time so did well to finish second to Doc Sportello, who ran well again at Windsor earlier this week. Eve Johnson Houghton’s four-year-old could be the one to beat today if getting away on terms.
