In depth
Verdict
Duroob could be the answer to this tricky contest and he gets the vote here with Prince Samos and Karlu the most likely dangers. The selection's bit slipped when he made a disappointing debut but he was well supported last time on this track and he ran well to finish third behind Brooklime. If he can improve again for that run then he will take plenty of beating. Prince Samos ran well when third behind Tremar last time over 6 furlongs at Lingfield. He will be suited by the extra furlong here but his best form has been on a faster surface and for that reason he is opposed. Karlu looked to be getting the hang of things in the closing stages on his debut at Lingfield when down the field behind Minnesota. He is sure to come on for that run and should go well. Spectait is a newcomer from the Sir Mark Prescott yard and is worth noting in the market, but Duroob sets a fair standard here and looks the one to beat.
