    Verdict

Distant High beat My Son Max a couple of lengths over track and trip last month. The latter re-opposes on better terms while Ifan may do better back over this shorter trip. Khee Society was still beaten eight lengths when runner-up at Windsor last month so another chance goes to EVERVESCENT having found only one too good when runner-up here in June off today's mark. General Brook remains badly out of form and hard to fancy.
