    Verdict

DOCTOR BONG scored at Chester before running well at Sandown in a higher grade event on his handicap debut. Andrew Balding's charge may come out best dropped in class. Brighton winner Sarangoo has a shout off today's mark having since finished a close-up fourth over track and trip while Corporal Maddox has been back on a winning mark for some time but has not raced since January. The remainder are harder to fancy in their current poor form.
