      Verdict

Strenue was asked a serious question on his debut and it was no surprise he was unable to trouble the principals. This is a big drop in class for him and he is taken to show the benefit of that outing at Sandown. He will not have things all his own way as Menuhin has shown enough to be a big danger in this. From the same family as the high class Kutub, he will be well suited to this stiffer test and is sure to give a good account. Of the others, Dancing Burren needs to show improvement if he is to win this, but better may be seen of him when he goes handicapping, while Bowing, from the same family as Derby third Presenting, will no doubt improve for this stiff mile.
