COURT FRONTIER (NAP) won off this mark over fences back in March and his shrewd handler has booked talented 5lb claimer James Bowen. There was plenty of promise in his comeback run at Newbury and today’s conditions will play to his strengths. On The Road is less well treated but he had Driftwood Haze behind when second at Ffos Las. Flemcara arrives off the back of a win on soft going at Exeter and Kris Spin won at Ayr before finishing second at Uttoxeter, though has gone up another 2lb. Dandy Duke loves the mud but the handicapper has been taking note of his exploits and Battle Of Ideas has more to do than when landing a Plumpton maiden, though is the least exposed of these.
