In depth

Verdict

Ravenna could be of interest on her first start in a handicap but Marcus Tregoning's filly does not seem to be particularly well treated and preference is for Private Peachey, who gets the vote ahead of Penny From Heaven. The last mentioned was a shade disappointing on her reappearance but should come on a bundle for that outing and could be potentially well treated. Goose Green ran better at Warwick recently but is not the most consistent of performers so may be best watched and of more interest may be Bryn Palling's Bidable, who looks to be going the right way. Mo became frustrating last term but may have improved from last season to this, while Putra Laju should strip fitter for his recent return at Epsom. The vote then goes to Private Peachey, who has shown progressive form of late and he looks the one that they all have to beat.
