        Verdict

        Lexi's Hero won this last year beating 2012 winner Confessional. But the former has struggled since and the latter has a high draw to contend with this time. Roudee arrives in fine form having won at Doncaster before going close at Epsom while Avon Breeze won over 6f at Ripon recently when ahead of Kimberella and Growl. Paul Hanagan takes over on the latter today. Mukaynis ran well over 6f at Kempton last month and Seve won at Wolverhampton in December but was fourth behind BLITHE SPIRIT over track and trip earlier. The latter was well beaten in this last year but Eric Alston’s mare has won four times at this venue now and may prove good enough again if producing her best.
