      Verdict

      Monoski attempted to make all in a conditions race at Pontefract but set the race up nicely for HURSTWOOD to win and a similar outcome is anticipated here. Tim Easterby’s colt won in soft going at York before that and a bold bid is expected today, despite the penalties and unfavourable terms with Oh Purple Reign. The latter has also won at York but has yet to encounter testing ground while Bill Neigh was well beaten on an earlier outing in the soft. Mr Jones And Me is the least exposed though looks to have been set a stiff task.
