        Verdict

        Dragons Tail made all over track and trip last week but is drawn higher today and previous course winner Penwortham is drawn widest of all. The latter’s stablemate Rene Mathis won a claimer here before finishing behind Sans Souci Bay over course and distance while Kaeso remains 12lb higher than when scoring at Yarmouth in May. Fastar drops back in trip while Welliesinthewater is raised in class along with Club Wexford but HELLS BABE has been competing in Listed company so far this year. She gets a speculative vote in something of a lottery given Mick Appleby’s mare won at this level over 7f at York last year.
