The trio for the shortlist are EXCELLENT SHOW, Le Toreador and Rio Cobolo and we will side with Excellent Show as the pick. There are relatively few miles on the clock for our selection and she looks to be a filly on an upward curve. She wasn't beaten far at Ripon last month and with conditions to suit she looks to have sound claims. It is a worry that Rio Cobolo is drawn in stall 11 as she might get run off her feet over this sharp 5f. Le Toreador is quickly turned out after putting in a decent effort at Doncaster on Wednesday when third behind Total Impact but his high draw will not make life easy. Mr Wolf also ran at Doncaster on Wednesday but he was disappointing and he will need to leave that running behind. He does like to lead and he has run well here in the past so he is not one to dismiss lightly. There are plenty in with chances and the vote goes to Excellent Show.
