Verdict
Daze gets the call here ahead of Let's Pretend and Danettie. The selection was not knocked about but showed plenty of promise on her debut when third behind Silent Hawk and Anna Pallida, who has won since. Normal improvement from that race should see her seriously competitive today and she gets our vote. Barry Hills has a tremendous record at this track and his sister to the high-class stayer Rainbow High, Let's Pretend, has to be afforded a lot of respect. Danettie ran her best race to date when fourth at Windsor last time, but Stocking Island has been disappointing and connections seem to be struggling to establish her trip. Principessa is struggling to get her head in front and looks up against it again, and Reem Two has a good bit more to find than when third at Hamilton last time. Overall, then, we are happy to row in with Daze.
