Verdict
Didn't Tell My Wife is taken to defy a six-pound rise to beat The Gaikwar and Crail. Chris Wall's five-year-old won well at Newbury last week, and with the apprentice on board taking off 10lbs, the penalty should easily be overcome. The slight drop back in trip here will not be a problem, and there is no reason not to support him. The Gaikwar has been very consistent without scoring and was taken off his feet at Chepstow last time. He needs to be kept nearer the pace to challenge the selection. Crail has topweight but has the assistance of Lisa Jones, and will be all the better for a brief break. The rest do not make too much appeal and Didn't Tell My Wife makes most appeal.
