Verdict
A wide open handicap here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Turnstile, Velvet Waters and Hatch A Plan and the vote goes to Turnstile. The selection was a good second behind Mandatum last time out off this mark, this slightly easier ground will suit her better and she need only reproduce that effort to score. Velvet Waters rates the main danger as she is improving with age and won well last time out when defeating Principessa. However she will find this harder under her penalty. Hatch A Plan is another worthy of respect he was a fair fourth behind Leg Spinner last time but his best form is over a shorter trip Soulacroix and for that reason is opposed. Stage Right was a fair fourth behind Soulacroix last time and that form has since been franked but he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually achived. Of the remainder Karamea is from a yard that is beginning to hit top form so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Turnstile.
