Verdict
Simoon was raised only 2lb for winning at Chelmsford and scored again at Windsor recently. He’s 4lb higher today while MEARING has been raised 3lb for winning at Hamilton. But the latter also scored over course and distance last year and should go close again back here for the first time since. Hats Off To Larry won at Windsor when last on the Flat but hasn’t raced since November while Chai Chai has switched yards recently having scored over a shorter trip here last summer and has yet to race over this far. Beverley runner-up Sands Chorus has finished closer of late as he looks to end a long losing run.
