    Verdict

This does look to be a good opportunity for Odabella to get off the mark and daughter of Selkirk receives a confident vote to hold too much for Iwo Jima and Nominate at this stage of her career. The John Gosden-trained filly was slightly disappointing at Bath when she was last seen out, but that form may well prove to be a little stronger than initially thought in time. The booking of lightweight jockey Francis Norton is another positive sign and Odabella can confirm that her debut run was not just a one off and she should have too much toe for Iwo Jima if it boils down to a dash for the line.
