In depth

Verdict

Dr Shirocco has improved with each run over timber without looking a natural stayer while Imperial Tune was beaten a long way over 2m4f at Punchestown. PART TIME FARMER cost a massive €312,000 being related to a couple of very smart jumpers. He showed ability in bumpers before finishing second over hurdles at Fairyhouse on Saturday and can go one better if turning out again quickly. Mr Josiey Wales was no match for the long odds-on Noble Yeats at Navan but had earlier scored between the flags and looks the obvious alternative if the selection doesn't turn up. Raven Queen and Glen Wyllin were both engaged here yesterday.
