Asgard's Captain looked to have a chance in the 5.50 at Sligo yesterday. Johnny Murtagh sent STARNIGHT to Nottingham earlier this month for a comfortable victory and though 9lb higher she can go in again. Rumbled Again has been beaten twice off this mark lately while Golden Spangle keeps going up in the weights without winning though she's running well and is an obvious contender. She had Inthepoorhouse just behind when third at the Curragh but those who supported the latter into favouritism at Navan on Saturday didn't get much of a thrill. The Snapper's course and distance success last month came on very testing ground.
