In depth

Verdict

The in-form Count Of Carabass was engaged in the 3.25 at Limerick yesterday so that result should be monitored. Guanabara Bay was in good form at Dundalk over the winter and is just 4lb higher than his victory in January. CAPTAIN POWER (NAP) won a Fairyhuse handicap last summer and was having just his second start since August when a close third at Listowel earlier this month. He's 5lb lower than that last winning mark and can get back on track. Brave Display won a heavy-ground handicap at the Curragh last month and there was plenty to like about his run on faster going back there last weekend so he looks the main threat. Dandyman Port hasn't won since his two-year-old days in France but he's been running well and the assessor hasn't been able to lower him.
