QUEEN MAEDBH was always travelling sweetly at Dundalk in November and the runner-up won her next two races. Joseph O'Brien's filly has to give plenty of weight away but doesn't look overburdened. Snowcapped came with a late burst to land a maiden over the trip at Gowran and can only improve while Queenie St Clair has been narrowly beaten in handicaps the last twice. Alabama Pearl ran in strong company last season and doesn't look badly treated while Sodapop won on soft ground in France in September and has joined Henry De Bromhead.
