Verdict
John Oxx's decision to bring out AZNAVOUR just eight days after making a winning debut at Gowran can prove correct as the son of Azamour was very impressive and obviously highly regarded. Victories at Beverley and Wolverhampton wouldn't normally be a prelude to running in a Group 3 but Hacienda is a very likeable type and Mark Johnston has his horses in cracking form. Foolish Ambition is probably best watched after a less than convincing return on testing ground here while Free Judgement, the definite pick on juvenile form with a Group 3 to his credit, disappointed when favourite on his return behind Noll Wallop at Leopardstown.
