Verdict

Most of these would be happier with a set of hurdles to jump. Ancient Sands scored over timber at Listowel earlier in the month and is well capable of winning from this mark. Ryan Moore teams up with Willie Mullins on board Laws Of Spin, who was a close fourth in this last year on his reappearance. The champion jumps trainer is also represented by LOW SUN, a winner on the Flat in France and twice over timber for current connections. He's coming here on what looks a lenient mark and will take some beating under the in-form Colin Keane. Clongowes will enjoy the conditions more than most and is running well enough to be considered while Spruce Meadows is only 2lb higher than his last winning mark. Top Othe Ra had won a bumper and scored four times over hurdles before landing an amateurs' event on the level at Leopardstown and he could be on a fair mark.
