    Verdict

David O'Meara has a strong hand in this with Suedois making his debut for the yard having won a Group 3 at Deauville last year when trained in France. Stablemate Move In Time is a high-class sprinter at his best but that is mostly over 5f as it was when winning the Prix de l'Abbeye at Longchamp in 2014. Maarek won the latter race in 2013 and the Beverley Bullet over 5f last year while JACK DEXTER won this sprint in 2013 and has finished third and fourth subsequently. Ryan Moore takes over the reins for this year's attempt and Jim Goldie's charge should go close again having beaten Shared Equity when scoring here in November. Alben Star won the All-Weather Championships sprint at Lingfield on Good Friday but it's been some time since he last won on this surface though he's still preferred to the three-year-old Gracious John.
