Verdict

BELARDO has not won since landing the Dewhurst Stakes in 2014. But he ended last year with a second to the high-class Solow in the QE11 at Ascot and is the one to beat if running anywhere near that form. Custom Cut shares the same rating as the selection but is penalised for winning a Group 2 at Leopardstown in September and the returning Muwaary may prove a bigger threat if retaining all his ability having finished runner-up in the Jersey Stakes in 2014. Tupi won a Listed race at Newmarket last season while Bossy Guest returns from Meydan where he ran three modest races. Master Carpenter is better over further as when winning the John Smith's Cup at York in July and Calling Out has a tough task on these terms.
