      Verdict

      Mark Johnston has been a reliable trainer to follow with horses of the profile of Jomacomi over the years and there is no reason to question the formula in this company. Nessun Dorma and Siegfrieds Night have been expensive to follow so it the Mick Channon-trained Muzio Scevola is fancied to give the selection the most to do. However, the son of Titus Livius has a query to answer regarding the trip and is not one to be taking too short a price about. In contrast, Jomacomi got better the further he went at Windsor and he is a strong fancy to take a race like this in his stride - especially when his trainer's record with horses of his type is factored in.
