        Verdict

        The draw has been very kind to both Pedro Jack and Type One, who are fancied to lead the field home in this claimer that is large in numbers but low on quality. The former goes particularly well at this time of year and is given the nod as he bids to follow up his victory in similar company on the all weather recently. Gdansk is also of plenty of interest as he drops to this grade for the first time since August 2000. However, the ground may be a little livelier than he would care for and he will do well to figure from his position in the stalls. The same comments apply to Ripple Effect, who has been kept on the go for quite a while now and her last two efforts have suggested that she may have gone off the boil for the time being. Therefore, it may pay to stick with Pedro Jack now that his confidence is on a high after his game success at Wolverhampton.
