    Verdict

The Queen’s EVALUATION could give Sir Michael Stoute a double on the card as he almost certainly found the going too soft when favourite at Salisbury. He still finished ahead of a subsequent winner, however, and gets 6lb from the Yarmouth winner Silver Gunn. Wor Willie never figured on his handicap bow at Beverley but is less exposed than Fairmac. Monbaher was beaten a long way when third at Sandown and is now tried in blinkers.
