Verdict
FRANKEL left a very good impression when winning a better-than-average maiden at Newmarket on debut and he is taken to follow-up. Henry Cecil's colt also showed that he acts with some cut in the ground that day and with the front pair clear there is a very promising look to the form, while the drop in trip should not be a problem. Being by Pivotal it is also likely that Farhh will act on softer ground than when scoring by six lengths over 7f, also on his Newmarket debut. He was visually impressive there and while it was not as strong-a-race he merits plenty of respect. Diamond Geezah and Colorado Gold are both thoroughly exposed and the former appears to be the pick on this going, while presumably connections think a fair bit about Rainbow Springs to be entering her in this for a debut run. Both trip and conditions offer hope that she can make a pleasing start, and a market check is advised, though preference is for Frankel.
