Verdict
A chance is taken that the ease in grade will help Kelrev get his confidence back and he is nominated before Mighty Strong and Better Days, who should make bold bids but both have a little to prove on the balance of form. Kalca Mome is another to throw into the mix at the likely prices, as he a pretty good strike-rate from his starts under rules and has no doubts about his fitness for the battle today. However, he has been hard to win with this term and needs everything to drop just right. Better Days has a little to prove with the selection after dropping away tamely in the Paddy Power Chase and it is hard to see him reversing the form today. Whereas Mighty Strong has been a frustrating character to side with in the past and is not the easiest to predict regarding his resolution. Therefore, we side with Kelrev, who was only put off his stride by a rare mistake when he raced at Cheltenham and he can make amends in this lesser grade today.
