In depth
Verdict
Another tight contest in which many can be given chances. Sir Norman has ran well without winning of late but this tight track and shorter trip should suit and he will be hard to beat. Skinsey Finnegan won well last time out when defeating Renaloo, and despite his rise in the handicap a reproduction of that form would see him go close. All Sonsilver has plenty of weight for what he has archived. However the gelding from the Martin Todhunter yard is only a six-year-old and he has plenty of scope for improvement. Elvis Reigns was a fair second behind Mighty Fine at Sedgefield last time out and he could go well running off the same mark here. Dene View won a handicap hurdle race a couple of runs ago at Sedgefield. The Good Thyne gelding is making his chasing bow here and it is interesting to note that he is pitched straight into a novice handicap. Any market move would be significant. The remainder need to improve on there latest form to take a hand in the finish.
