      Verdict

      Splendid Era and Wilful renew rivalries here and the winner looks like it will come form this pair though Richard Hannon's Garmoucheh can not be easily written off. Splendid Era gets the narrow vote to put a below par performance at Newmarket behind him and return to the form which saw him finish third in the Craven. Wilful beat him at Newmarket last time out but there were excuses for the selection and he is taken to reverse form. Garmoucheh has some useful form under her belt and she may be able to put her experience to good use. She did not get the run of the race last time out at Newbury and may be some value if the front two are fighting out favouritism.
