In depth

Verdict

Not many of these arrive here at the top of their game and this could prove to be a muddling contest for future form book reference. However, Salvage has already acquitted himself well in better races this season and he is given a slender vote of confidence over Point of Origin and Vidi Caesar. The Tony Carroll-trained Ms Trude is one to monitor for signs of support from the betting ring and is one to consider for a place at least in this company. However, Salvage arrives here on the back of a series of good performances this terms and deserves a change of fortune today. The son of Kayhasi acts well at a galloping track such as this and he is taken to have the edge over the likes Point Of Origin, if it develops into a dash for the line at the finish.
