Verdict

A wide open contest rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events jockeyship is all important with this in mind the principals look to be Forest Tune, Sting Like A Bee, Digger, Brave Dane and Noul and the tentative vote goes to Forest Tune. The selection goes well fresh and is fit from a light hurdling campaign he is well weighted on his best form will like the ground and with conditions to suit he will be hard to beat. Sting Like A Bee rates the main danger he has been in fair form of late on the AW. He was doing all his best work at the finish when fourth behind Danielle's Lad and will appreciate this longer trip. Brave Dane was given a poor ride last time but still managed to finish fifth under very tender handling behind Karaoke and if he is ridden more positively he would be a danger to all. Digger is from a yard in top form and is another that could go well but he has been tried over a variety of trips and it is hard to know which is his best so for that reason he is opposed. Noul is another worthy of respect he looks to be on a fair mark and could have the race run to suit but he has a poor draw and is passed over on this occasion. So for the winner we return to Forest Tune with the experienced Carol Williams on board.
