      Verdict

      Big Country won a Listed race for Mick Appleby but hasn’t sparkled since joining Jamie Osborne. It would be no surprise to see Elector stage a revival, however, having switched to David O’Meara and today’s going will suit. Ironclad could improve further this year having been gelded over the winter while Where's Jeff was in cracking form last summer, winning three times. Away He Goes travelled strongly for a long way at Newbury and will strip fitter today but HARROVIAN (NAP) made a satisfactory reappearance at Haydock considering the going was too soft. Today’s conditions will be much more suitable and he can go one better with the aids back on.
