Verdict

Placed in three of his five starts to date, Reeves should be thereabouts again though is vulnerable against less-exposed types. NUBOUGH beat a subsequent winner at Leicester last month only to lose the race in the stewards’ room. He deserves compensation and can hold off Solid Stone, a promising fourth at Newbury when given a kind introduction. Roger Varian has a couple of newcomers in the line-up and David Egan’s mount Emirates Knight, a half-brother to four winners, is preferred to Nabbeyl. Oche and Leo Davinci are others worth a market check.
