        Verdict

        The Grand Visir beat a good yardstick at Haydock in May but has had wind surgery and changed stables since tailed off in the Northumberland Plate consolation at Newcastle in June. Surya beat WINDS OF FIRE (NAP) at Haydock in July but the latter should turn the tables here on 7lb better terms given that was his only defeat of the season so far. C'Est No Mour appears to be treading water on his current mark while Darksideoftarnside is hard to catch right. Legal History remains winless and Winston C looks unlikely to repeat his stable’s win in this last year.
