Verdict
Nicky Henderson has not enjoyed the best period of his long training career but he can find a little joy with The Market Man, who despite the ease in the ground, makes more appeal than Say What You See and Mr Bigglesworth in a race than contains a fair amount of driftwood to sift through. The last named showed a fair bit of improvement on his latest start and should go close if he continues in the right way. He may be one to just take notes on this time around though as the form of his Catterick run is nothing out of the ordinary. Say What You See has to be considered at this level and, in spite of top weight, he represents the biggest danger. Martin Pipe and Timmy Murphy were in cracking form at Warwick yesterday and they can never be ruled out when their blood is up. However, the concession of 7lb to an improving rival such as The Market Man may be a barrier to high to cross at this stage and, thus the pendulum swings towards the Henderson camp on this occasion.
