Verdict
BERNARDO O'REILLY is not always the easiest to catch right, but goes really well for Hayley Turner and has performed creditably on both starts this term, notably when his late swoop delivered victory in a competitive Newbury handicap just eight days ago. A rise of 3lb is fair and he'll prove hard to beat if repeating that level here. Sterling Knight ended last season on a high but has been penalised 8lb for his last two wins and now has a first start since mid-October. He's a contender if arriving in the form in which he finished his last campaign. Celsius is another back for a new season and commands respect on some progressive form last term. He needs a market check. Course and distance winner Magical Spirit is also a possible after an improved effort last time, for which he should come on again.
