In depth

Verdict

LAIETH (NAP) was a very easy winner making his Turf debut at Newmarket. He has been raised 7lb but looks the type to hold his own in better company this year. The improving Pettifogger has only been raised 2lb for winning at HQ and rates a danger while Whinmoor races off the same mark as when only beaten a neck over course and distance last year. Starlight Romance went close at York two weeks ago but is 3lb higher and Tommy Taylor remains high enough in the weights. Raselasad and Confrontational appears best of those in the bottom half of the handicap.
