The four-year-old Balgowlah gained his first victory in 22 starts over 2m6f at Downpatrick where he got up close home so the longer trip should be in his favour. The veteran Sir Ector has won around here though it's over two years since he was last successful but CLASSIC CONCORDE (NAP) scored over 3m1f at Kilbeggan in June and has returned to form in his last two starts. Andrew McNamara's charge can return to winning ways with his rider's claim a plus as Se Mo Laoch is better known as a chaser and hasn't run since May. Ballymadun is another returning from a break and his victory here in March was over much shorter.
