Verdict

This looks a strong maiden that should produce plenty of winners. Brace Yourself has some very smart form in bumpers and Noel Meade should have him ready. Batts Rock won twice on the Flat in the summer and started odds-on for his hurdling debut at Punchestown but couldn't cope with Milliner, though the remainder were well behind. Gordon Elliott is also represented by Defi Bleu, a winning bumper at Navan before finding Grade 2 company too tough at Naas. Milliner's yard is represented by RAYA TIME, a very impressive bumper winner at Killarney after which he went for £150,000 at the sales. He has a cracking pedigree for jumping and is taken to make a successful hurdling debut. Winning bumper Pike County looked as though he may be suited by further when staying on at Tipperary while The Holy One was beaten when long odds-on at Kilbeggan and is another who may find this on the short side. The Big Galloper is one to note in the market while At The Acorn was an impressive point-to-point winner in April.
