Sir Mark Prescott sends the prolific Altra Vita from Newmarket though her victories have all been in minor handicaps and she was beaten a long way in Group 3 over this trip at York on her reappearance. Downdraft landed a Listed contest over 1m4f at Roscommon and though he's never been further than that he looked like a staying type that day. He has a penalty to carry, however, but Giuseppe Garibaldi escapes extra for his victory at this level at Leopardstown last summer. He's been running in the Emirates without much success and will do well to see off THE KING, who is generally consistent at this sort of level with a close third over this trip on the latter track a year ago the highlight.
