Verdict

The four-year-old filly The Way It Works showed promise on her debut for Lucinda Russell at Perth in April and her allowances will help though the three penalised winners dominate this. VALERIAN BRIDGE has a double penalty to contend with but those who watched him canter all over subsequent winner Bay Sly at Tipperary won't want to miss him, even in this better race. Black Zambezi had obviously been showing plenty at home as he started favourite for his debut at Gowran and stayed on strongly though that didn't look the best of races. Snow Falcon just failed to concede 7lb to Very Much So at Punchestown in April and made a successful reappearance at Fairyhouse earlier this month so he could provide the main threat.
