Verdict

GETAWAY GOLDIE (NAP) didn't take to fences in two runs last summer but reverted to hurdles to score at Perth in April. She'll have had plenty of schooling and a mark of 95 could be greatly underestimating her ability though she's 2lb out of the handicap. Four-times hurdles winner Balinaboola Steel has only had four starts over fences but very nearly lost his maiden tag at Limerick while Arrycan won easily over the course and distance a year ago and has been hurdling. School Lane is a consistent performer at this level and any rain would enhance his claims while Centurion Steel and Favori Logique are very closely matched on their 1-2 over timber here last summer.
