In depth

Gordon Elliott has won three of the last four of these and has two entries with winning bumper Mulifactorial carrying a penalty. He has a cracking jumping pedigree and much more scope than stable companion Three Is Company. Ya Boy Ya is the other penalised entry having won a bumper on this track before narrowly beaten over hurdles here and at Kilbeggan when attempting to concede weight on both occasions. Stones And Roses showed nothing in his first three starts but was much improved on testing ground at Wexford in March and looks a typical slow-burner from his yard. Winning point-to-pointer BAY AMBITION was having his first start for Gavin Cromwell when a close third behind the odds-on Well Set Up at Roscommon and, with this longer trip certain to suit, can get off the mark over timber.
