Muroor is inconsistent but won this last year and also scored over fences on the track in August so can never be dismissed. Laureate won a course and distance maiden in June while Our Brian won a handicap here the same month and ran well at the last meeting here. Alterno won this in 2017 and is 4lb lower but hasn't had much racing subsequently. TIGER TWENTY TWO (NAP) hadn't been showing much in the UK before joining Gordon Elliott but showed there was a race to be won when a very good fourth at Navan. He then cantered in at Gowran and, though 16lb higher, looks capable of much better. The four-year-old Santa Anna hasn't won yet but has run her best races on this track including at the last meeting.
